We have written to the International Criminal Court, the British Foreign and Commonwealth Department and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation requesting them to take a stand against this cruelty. We shall continue to be a voice for the voiceless and oppressed.

Sexual harassment is a serious offence.

Repeatedly sending inappropriate messages or engaging in cyberstalking in a professional setting can constitute a violation of the law under the Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Acts of 2010 and 2022, as well as the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA), 2016.

Unfortunately, many women hesitate to come forward due to fear or social pressure. However, legal mechanisms are now firmly in place, and the office of the Federal Ombudsperson is actively addressing complaints of sexual harassment with the seriousness they deserve.
